Amanda Bynes, born April 3, 1986, had such a quick rise to fame when she was only 10 years old. The young star first appeared on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy show ‘All That’ in 1996 and remained a cast member until 2002. But she really struck a chord with Hollywood when she helmed her own variety sketch show ‘The Amanda Show’ from 1999 to 2002.
From there, Amanda appeared in a string of teen comedies like ‘Big Fat Liar,’ ‘What A Girl Wants,’ ‘She’s The Man,’ and so many more. Her star continued to rise in the mid-2000s, leading movies like ‘Sydney White,’ and appearing in the ensemble cast of ‘Hairspray.’ After taking a hiatus from acting following the 2010 film ‘Easy A,’ Amanda began to struggle.
The actress had run-ins with the law and struggles with addiction but eventually sought rehabilitation for her mental health. In the years since, Amanda has seemingly begun to get her life back on track, and her fans are only wishing her the best moving forward.
Amanda filed to end her conservatorship arrangement on Feb. 25, 2022, after nine years under supervision. Her lawyer said, “Amanda wishes to terminate her conservatorship. She believes her condition is improved and protection of the court is no longer necessary.”
